Bermuda is an overseas territory of the United Kingdom in the North Atlantic Ocean, situated around 975 km off the coast of the United States. The oldest remaining British overseas territory, it was settled by England a century before the Acts of Union came into place, and two centuries before the creation of the United Kingdom. Although Bermuda is referred to, in the singular, it consists of around 138 islands. The largest island, Main Island or Great Bermuda, is the location of the capital - Hamilton. It is an amazing place to visit with a warm, tropical climate and beautiful beaches. Bermuda is one among the selected few islands of the world, to boast of pink sands and turquoise oceans. The official bird is Cahow, official flower is Bermudiana and official tree is Bermuda Cedar. Transport and Accommodation
There are different options available for transport Taxi, cycle, Bus, Ferry, Scooter or Moped, Minibus, Airport Limos. There are still parts of Bermuda Tradition like Horse drawn Carriages found in the Ship terminals of the city of Hamilton and town of St George. The Taxis enjoy mass popularity. The Airport is on 3 Cahow Way, St George's Parish. The Airport is sandwiched between the waterways of Ferry Reach and Castle Harbor. The Airport has one Passenger Terminal, one Cargo Terminal and eight Aircraft Stands.
Accommodation at Bermuda - Bermuda, one of the world's most expensive places to go on vacation, is undeniably lovely for high-spending tourists. Extremely expensive for budget travelers, Campgrounds are seasonal, by permission only.
