Old churches are present in T'bilisi, the capital city of Georgia. The Cathedral of Zion which dates back to the 5th century and St. David's monastery of the 6th century is present in this city. Another striking place is the Metekhi church which dates back to the 13th century.
An exotic looking city is that of Batumi. The city is covered with palms, cypresses, lemon and orange trees, magnolias and oleanders. The parks in this city are filled with the fragnance of these trees.
Vani is an ancient temple city which is located on the western bank of the Sulori River. It is famous for the archaeological excavations that took place here for past 100 years.
