Karabakh or Nagorno-Karabakh is located in southern Caucasus and is a part of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was previously a region in Armenia but after Armenia and Azerbaijan got its independence from Russia, dispute started between Armenia and Azerbaijan regarding the territory of Karabakh. Ultimately Karabakh declared its independence from Azerbaijan as the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic but unfortunately it is not recognized by any country or any international organization. The Government of Karabakh consists of a President and Prime Minister but the Government is unrecognized. The country covers an area of 4,400 square km with a population of 145,000.
