It has now been turned into a museum displaying portraits, furniture and household articles used by the Nawabs. Bangladesh National Museum situated in Shahbag is a central tourist attraction. The museum is a storehouse of interesting collections including sculptures paintings, inscriptions of the Holy Quran, old coins, metal images, filigree works etc. Mukti Juddha Museum situated at Segun Bagicha in Shabag contains rare photographs of liberation war and arms used by the freedom fighters. Parliament House or Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban located at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar is an architectural wonder of Bangladesh. The exquisite Nawab Curzon Hall structured in the name of Lord Curzon and the Old High Court Building are marvels of European and Mughal architecture.
