The Republic of Equatorial Guinea is located in the western side of middle Africa. It is one of the smallest countries of Africa and it covers an area of 28,051 square km with a population of 504,000. The population of this country is less and it is also the smallest Spanish speaking country in the world. It is a member of the United Nations and number of oil reserves was discovered in this country recently. The country got its independence from Spain on 12th October 1968.
